That’s what you call a perfect knockoff! All that the new Colorado graduate assistant, Warren Sapp, wanted from the players was to head forward to win the Big 12 championship with full potential. Hardly did Sapp realize that he would get the taste of his own medicine and that the Colorado Buffaloes’ edge BJ Green II would take it too seriously.
During the Buffs’ first week of preseason practice, Green II gave a stark reminder of the immense physical strength he owns. And this was enough for the Colorado fans to share a hearty laugh while sympathizing with the Hall of Fame legend in the comment section as they dropped in some comedic notes.
Green II’s practice blast took Sapp by surprise
On July 31, Thee Pregame Show posted a clip from the training camp. And it was no ordinary video. It was so thrilling for Sapp that Colorado’s graduate assistant too posted the clip on his IG account on August 2. For the caption, he wrote, “I have no Clue what “LOC” is but My Lawd please let it mean Light On Coach!! #SappGotSmashed #SappNotFishing #BlowedUp check Coach Dancy shaking his right shoulder. He got US Both!!” But what is the hoopla all about?

Green II was perfecting his pass-rushing moves during a drill when he got carried away. So much so that the edge did not hold back in pinning Sapp down who came in his way. The Hall of Famer had taken up the role of Green II’s defensive lineman target, armed up with a blocking pad.
It came as no less than a shock for the 51-year-old NFL great. And he was shaken up by Green II’s blast. But it did not take much time for Sapp to be on his feet, although he was spotted rubbing his left shoulder, but luckily did not suffer any injury. And what did the Buffs fans have to say about it?
Sapp’s fan-fueled recovery after the big hit
Sympathy for Sapp did pour in, but the comment section was all fun. A fan highlighted how it will be a fool’s task to take Green II lightly, “Damn! That young man is ruthless! You okay big fella?” Even though Sapp is of great stature, he fell off to the ground on receiving the blow, which made the fan concerned about him. Since this new job of holding the shield for the players during the practice is too risky, here a fan came up with an alternative suggestion for Sapp, “You gotta get back to stretching coach.”
It has been long since Sapp retired as a defensive tackle. Hence getting hit brings back his old memories as a fan dropped a sarcastic comment, “Sapp prolly haven’t felt that in years. I pretty sure he enjoyed it a bit.” Even though Green II had not done it intentionally, the Hall of Famer seniority status went out for a toss as according to a fan, “That was Elder Abuse.”
To another die-hard Sapp fan, the player is yet to learn about how big a legend Sapp has been during his time, “99 i think they’re a little too young to know who you are lol.” Witnessing Green II’s power, should the rivals be prepping themselves up for some power-packed pindown?
