Angry Jerry Jones Regrets Buying Cowboys Months After Saudi Arabia Interest Rumors

Jerry Jones was left with a foul taste in his mouth after being treated to a disappointing display by his Cowboys team on Sunday. It might have hurt him badly, as Jones was expected to celebrate his 82nd birthday in style. Instead, he left the AT&T stadium, watching his team lose 9-47 against the Lions, thereby putting them on a losing streak of four games at home.

This might have led to Jones expressing his regrets about ever buying the Cowboys in the first place: “One of the stupidest things I’ve ever done, that anybody had ever analyzed was buy the Cowboys. It was an idiot that did that. So idiot things can turn into good decisions. Smart things can turn into bad decisions. The facts are when you make one, you don’t really know if it’s going to be good or not at the time.”

Although this could be just a burst-out after last Sunday’s game, there are potential rumors of Saudi Arabia purchasing the Cowboys at the beginning of this season.
